  • Danforth 2013 Biannual Purchase Prize 12/12/2013

    My piece was selected for the Danforth Museum of Art's 2013 Biannual Purchase Prize. The 40x40" image, Untitled: Dust Storm Near Cemetery Road and HWY 23, is now part of the Museum's permanent collection. It will be on display through the end of February as part of the exhibition New Acquisitions: Selections from the Permanent Collection.

  • Upcoming show at the South Shore Art Center 10/10/2013

    I just received notification that my work will be included in a show at the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, MA. "COOL" was curated by Joseph Carroll and includes a range of media. It will be open November 8th through December 22nd of this year.

  • Piece sold at ARTcetera 10/10/13

    My work was selected for the Aids Action ARTcetera2013 gala this year. The event was October 5th and it was a vibrant mix of artists and art patrons who share both a love of art as well as a passion for aids activism. My piece Looking East from Crow Flies High Butte sold in the silent auction and even started a bit of a bidding war, which of course raised more funding for the cause. I was thrilled to be a participant and to contribute via the donation of my piece. Thanks to the Aids Action Committee and to all the organizers.

  • New England Photography Biennial 09/08/13

    My work has been included in the Danforth Museum's New England Photography Biennial, which opened today. Please, make a trip out to Framingham between now and November 3rd, and enjoy the leaves on the way. If you're a museum member there is also a reception on September 21st this month.

  • MFA Film and Video Screening 05/16/13

    I had the privilege of screening the current version my film Sense of Place (formerly Eggs for Donuts) this past spring. This was a great cap to the graduation events and to my MFA studies as SMFA and Tufts. Thanks to all my peers and professors who have supported me through adventure.

  • MFA Thesis Events 11/16/12

    I am completing my final year of study at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and am planning two major thesis events. The first an exhibition on photographs titled Sense of Place: Transitional Landscapes from the Evolving Plains. The exhibit will open November 29th, 2012 at the Tufts University Art Gallery in the Aidekman Arts Center. The opening reception will be on the 29th from 5:30-8 pm with artists talks at 6 pm. My second thesis event will be a screening of my up coming documentary short, Eggs for Donuts, which is set to primer at the MFA in Boston May 16th.

    My work has been selected to represent SMFA at the Photographic Resource Center in Boston for the 2012 Student Exhibition. I am one of only four SMFA students showing. The exhibition will be on display April 12 – May 5, 2012 with an opening reception Thursday, April 12, 2012, 5:30 – 8:30 pm.

    Five pieces of mine will be on sale Dec. 8th-11th. I am donating 50% of my proceeds to scholarship programs at SMFA.

  • Successful Trip to Ghana 9/10/11

    After three weeks living in ABA house, teaching, and eating amazing Ghanaian food I have made a safe journey home without incident. For those of you who are less familiar with West African geography I was living in Nungua, which is a village suburb of Ghana's capital city, Accra. The trip was an amazing experience full of life lessons and I hope to return to Ghana in the near future. Please feel free to email any questions, and look out for new images as I post them.

    A fundraiser BBQ held July 10th raised over one hundred twenty-five dollars towards malaria prophylactics, deet, and mosquito nets to keep me malaria free in Ghana. Thanks to all who attended!
